Colouring books to tell children about Red List animals of St. Petersburg

The new colouring books edited in St. Petersburg will help children learn what a water shrew and a poplar borer look like.

Two new colourging books of the series about Red List species of the St. Petersburg region, Rare Mammals and Rare Arthropods, have been published. 

From them, children will learn about the badger, the lynx, several species of bats, and other animals. The colouring books will be distributed in schools and kindergartens free of charge.

The project was initiated by the Directorate for specially protected nature areas.
