Roses in bloom despite January frost

Despite the frosty weather that has set in St. Petersburg in January, blooming roses were spotted in the Primorsky district of the city.

The photos were made on January 8. The author noticed the flowers while taking a walk and posted the pictures in a social network.

Roses in bloom were spotted in the 300th Anniversary Park and near Fermskoe Highway in St. Petersburg. 

Social media users joke that the flowers are apparently unaware of the calendar.
