As winter is approaching, navigation in the rivers and canals of St. Petersburg has been closed.
Since Monday, all types of passenger vessels, including small craft, are not allowed to ply the waterways of the city according to the order signed by Roman Polyakov, Chairman of the St. Petersburg Committee for transport, a spokesperson for the Committee told Saint-Petersburg TV Channel.
Pleasure boats will be back to the historical center of the city next year only. Usually, passenger navigation in St. Petersburg starts in April.
