The Chumakov Federal Scientific Center is commencing clinical tests of a new COVID-19 vaccine in St. Petersburg and Kirov. The testing is to start on October 19.
Earlier, on October 6, the Chumakov Center started testing the vaccine in Novosibirsk. So far the testing is going well, with no adverse effects registered, TASS reports quoting Academician Aidar Ishmukhametov, General Director of the Center. The vaccine tested contains weakened or dead viruses that are harmless.
