St. Petersburg cinemas have reopened after almost 6 months of the quarantine. The Saint-Petersburg TV Channel crew has visited one of the cinemas.
Both the bars and the lounge zones are open, though with some restrictions, with obligatory masks and social distancing.
The viewers are seated with a vacant seat between people, though there is an exclusion for companies.
Victoria Malysheva, a cinema-goer, shares: ‘I am happy, I am a cinema fan. The closed cinemas were a tragedy for me, so now I am happy. We were monitoring when the cinemas were going to reopen, and we are here the first day.’
Yekaterina Bondareva and Alexander Alexeev, cinema-goers, tell: ‘The first impression is, it is great! We congratulate everybody on the reopening. We have been looking forward for it for a long time.’
Tickets were available since the day when the date of reopening became known, and many of the shows were sold out.
The prices did not change, and all the bonus programmes are in place.
