The territory of the former Skorokhod shoe factory in St. Petersburg well known in Russia in the Soviet era can be transformed into a pedestrian zone.
According to Piter.tv, the project is suggested by Okhta Group. The recreation area will occupy some 3.3 hectares. According to the concept, no buildings will be pulled down.
Earlier, a multifunctional center was suggested to be developed instead of the factory, but the project was never realized.
