The relocation was initially planned for July but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
United Shipbuilding Corporation is to start moving from Moscow to St. Petersburg in August, RIA Novosti reports quoting the USC CEO.
The relocation had to be postponed by a month due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The first group of experts will go St. Petersburg in August and not in July as was initially planned.
Some 300 of the USC personnel are to relocate including those employed in the military shipbuilding, technical development and IT departments.
The relocation is expected to help the USC to cut costs and communicate closer with shipbuilding and ship design companies operating in St. Petersburg.
