The sculpture will have to be pulled down as it was installed without permission.
A sculpture symbolizing self-isolation has been put up in the Piskarevsky Park in St. Petersburg, social media users report. The metal cube with a man and a cat locked inside are a metaphor of the conditions many people find themselves in with the anti-COVID-19 restrictive measures in place.
The author of the composition is unknown. The installation will be short-lived as it was put up without permission from the city Committee for improvement and will have to be pulled down, according to TASS.
