St. Petersburg Alexander Beglog took part in a video conference on measures to support the economy and social sphere held by Vladimir Putin on Tuesday.
Speaking at the conference, Alexander Beglov told about the two packages of support measures adopted in St. Petersburg.
‘They are worth 13.5 billion rubles. 110 thousand small and medium businesses are entitled to benefit from these measures,’ the Governor said. He believes these measures will help restore the economic processes that were suspended.
Alexander Beglov reminded that before the anti-epidemic restrictions were introduced, 247,879 organizations employing 3,050 thousand people were active in St. Petersburg. 68,390 of the organizations were affected by the restrictions.
After the days-off regime was lifted, 180 thousand organizations continued their commercial activities, which makes 70% of the total, the Governor said.
