A major confectionary manufacturer has donated 160 kilograms of chocolate to doctors and nurses fighting COVID-19.
Pobeda confectionary has donated Botkin Clinical Hospital in St. Petersburg 160 kilograms of chocolate, a spokesperson for the company told Saint-Petersburg TV Channel.
Chocolate is considered to contain a unique complex supportive of the immune system, which should help doctors cope with the pressure they are experiencing fighting COVID-19.
Denis Gusev, chief doctor of Botkin Hospital, said all the chocolate was given to the doctors and nurses of the hospital who work with COVID-19 patients.
