An unexpected snowfall occurred in St. Petersburg on Thursday. 1,160 people and 519 vehicles were deployed cleaning the city from snow, a spokesperson for the city administration told Saint-Petersburg TV Channel.
During the past 24 hours, some 274 tons of snow was collected in the city. 4,629 cubic meters of water and 193 liters of shampoo was used to clean the streets.
In the meanwhile, disinfecting the city streets is underway. During the past 24 hours, over 16 thousand liters of disinfecting solution was used. Since the start of the COVID-19 outbreak, more than 700 thousand liters of special disinfectants were used to clean the streets and building facades.
