Hyundai has resumed working two shifts, and Toyota is now fully operable.
Hyundai has resumed two-shift operations at its facility in St. Petersburg, a spokesperson for the company told Saint-Petersburg TV Channel. The daily target is 700 cars, both for the Russian market and for export.
The plant complies with all the restrictive measures to contain the COVID-19 epidemic, most of the office personnel work from home.
Toyota Motor, the Russian branch of Toyota, has also resumed full-scale operations at its St. Petersburg facility, Piter.TV reports. The service parts storage facilities in Moscow Oblast and Novosibirsk are also back to work.
