Most of the passengers travel on business, experts believe.
St. Petersburg remains a popular flight destination despite the epidemic of COVID-19, Peterburgsky Dnevnik daily reports quoting the data published by OneTwoTrip.
Analysts believe that most of the passengers travelled on business in April. Passengers preferred to book air tickets shortly before the date of the flight.
In May, Aeroflot, one of the major Russian air companies, offers 42 flights to St. Petersburg per week. Before the epidemic, the company made about 140 flights to St. Petersburg a week, according to Saint-Petersburg TV Channel’s information.
