The dock has already started repairing three boats of the Leningrad Naval Base. The order is scheduled to be competed by mid-May.

In 2018, the dock was taken out of conservation and examined. Last year, the shipyard's specialists repaired the communications, the caisson, and the bottom of the dock.
At present, the M.I.Surgin dock is the oldest dry dock in Russia. It was built in 1830-1846, even before Kronstadt Marine Plant was founded.
