St. Petersburg’s bus operator Passazhiravtotrans continues modernizing its bus park.
St. Petersburg’s bus operator Passazhiravtotrans will acquire 60 methane-powered and 80 diesel-fueled buses worth 2.5 billion rubles (31.2 thousand dollars) in 2020, TASS reports.
The company will buy 30 units for its own money, and the city budget will invest some 2 billion rubles (25 thousand dollars). The new buses are to be delivered during August-December.
25 of the new buses will be double-section units with a passenger capacity of no less than 163 people. The obligatory requirements include low floor for low mobility passengers, phone chargers, and contactless fare collection systems.
