An operational headquarters for controlling and preventing the spread of coronavirus infection in St. Petersburg has been established on commission from Governor Alexander Beglov.
Vice-Governor Valery Pikalev, Head of the Governor’s Administration, has been appointed head of the anti-coronavirus headquarters.
Members of the headquarters are representatives of the city government, the police, the National Guard, the Ministry of Emergencies, the Border Control Service and other agencies concerned.
