The staff of the university will consist of 1,800 people.
The Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia is to establish a university on the basis of the Penitentiary Service Training and Development Institute in Pushkin, a vicinity and administrative district of St. Petersburg.
According to the governmental decree providing for establishing the new educational institution, the number of staff will be 1,800 people, but no new recruitment is planned, the staff number of the Federal Penitentiary Service will not increase.
The charter of the university is to be adopted by April 1, and the registration procedures are to be completed by May 1, 2020.
