A delegation from Scotland is coming to St. Petersburg to visit an exhibition in the Russian National Library and take part in educational and charity projects.
The Days of Scotland starting in St. Petersburg are held for the 49th time. A delegation including members of the Robert Burns World Federation and representatives of cultural and educational institutes is coming to the city from Scotland.
The programme will start in the Russian National Library where an exhibition commemorating the Royal Scots and their contribution to the Victory in the Second World War will be opened. Part of the exhibition is dedicated to King George VI who ruled in the United Kingdom during the war.
The delegates will visit the Piskaryovskoe Memorial Cemetery, the Arctic Convoy Museum and the St. Petersburg Association for international cooperation where they will discuss common charity and educational projects.
