United Shipbuilding Corporation plans to move to St. Petersburg in summer of 2020, TASS report quoting Alexey Rakhmanov, President of USC.
The relocation is estimated to cost 1.4 billion rubles ($22.6 million). ‘It will be financed by dividends and loans, we have no other sources of financing,’ TASS cites Alexey Rakhmanov.
The head office is planned to be located in Antonenko Street, and operating offices could be located in Marat Street in St. Petersburg. The Moscow office will continue operating but will also move to another location, it will employ no more than 200 people.
Some 340-350 employees are expected to move to St. Petersburg, though about 30% may refuse to leave Moscow. Alexey Rakhmanov added that most likely USC will have to replace them recruiting specialists ready to relocate to St. Petersburg.
