First smart hospital to be opened in St. Petersburg by 2023

It will have an automated customer service system and a machine learning system.

The first smart hospital is to be inaugurated in St. Petersburg by 2023, TASS reports quoting the director of the A.Almazov National Medical Research Center.

The hospital will be equipped with an automated customer service system and a machine learning system, all medical histories and heath records will be digital.

Earlier, St. Petersburg Governor Alexander Beglov ordered all the city’s children’s outpatient clinics to adopt the ‘lean’ format by the end of the year. By 2020, outpatient clinics for grown-ups should complete this transition.

By 2020, St. Petersburg’s hospitals and clinics are to be connected to the common electronic database to provide control and quick information transfer.
