There are over 70 works on display.
An exhibition of the well-known stage designer Alexander Tyshler has opened in the Russian Museum with over 70 engravings, paintings and graphic works on display.
The main focus of the exhibition is on the pictures dealing with the Civil War and the works made after the artist left the theatre.
According to Natalia Solomatina, director of the Russian Museum’s 18-20th century drawings department, this is the first exhibition of Alexander Tyshler in the Russian Museum. It embraces almost all of the museum’s collection of Alexander Tyshler’s works.
The exhibition in the Stroganov Palace will be open till February 24, 2020.
