There will be 16 stops at the most important city attractions.
This Wednesday, the first touristic tram route is being launched in St. Petersburg, reports City+ quoting Gorelektrotrans.
It will run across the most beautiful bridges of the city linking Vasilievsky Island, the Petrograd Side, the Finland Railway Station and the Circus. Passenger will be able to board the tram at one of the 16 stops that it makes.
The passengers will see 500 architectural monuments and touristic attractions along the route and six bridges. The tram will make four runs a day starting at 10:00, 13:00, 16:00 and 19:00
The route will be served by a precise copy of the LM-33 ‘American’ carriage, which ran in St. Petersburg more than fifty years ago. Technically, it complies with all the current requirements in terms of safety and energy efficiency.
