The construction of the highway is scheduled for completion by November 15.
The M-11 Moscow – St. Petersburg highway is to become fully operable by the end of November, report TASS quoting Deputy Minister of transport Innokenty Alafinov.
He said that the construction of the highway is to be completed by November 15. Besides, documentation is to be finalized, so the official inauguration is planned in late November.
The high-speed M-11 highway will connect the Moscow Ring Road with the St. Petersburg Ring Road. It runs in parallel with the M-10 Russia highway.
The new highway is 669 kilometres long, it will make it possible to get from Moscow to St. Petersburg in just 5.5 hours.
The toll for using the highway is expected to make about 3 thousand rubles ($47).
