St. Petersburg to get new trolleybuses

142 new units worth 3.7 billion rubles are to be acquired.

Gorelektrotrans, the municipal operator of trams and trolleybuses in St. Petersburg, has announced tenders to acquire new trolley buses, Kommersant business daily reports. 

142 trolleybuses manufactured no earlier than in 2020 are to be bought for 3.7 billion rubles ($58 million). Delivery is to take place by mid-2020. 

Three electronic auctions for these contracts are scheduled for December 12.
