Russian emperors’ personal belongings, costumes and palace ornamentations will be on display.
Schaezlerpalais in Augsburg in Germany will host an exhibition titled ‘Tzars’ Collections. Peterhof Rarities’. Visitors will see personal belongings of Russian emperors, their costumes and precious items of palace interiors.
At present, the Peterhof Museum staff are packing the unique exhibits preparing them for transportation. This will be the first time that objects of such historic and material value are leaving Peterhof.
The exhibition is organized by the Ministry of Culture in the framework of the ‘Russian Seasons in Germany’ programme aimed at familiarizing the European audience the history of the Russian Empire and the lives of the Emperors.
