The project will allow St. Petersburg to become one of the world’s major technology centers.
An agreement on establishing an international technology hub in St. Petersburg was signed on November 25 between St. Petersburg Governor Alexander Beglov, Gazprom Neft Chairman and CEO Alexander Dyukov, and Director General of the Agency of Technological Development Sergey Zinchenko.
The project will stimulate introducing innovative technologies in St. Petersburg, which in future will make the city more comfortable, Alexander Beglov noted. The international technology hub will also offer development opportunities for young specialists.
The Governor emphasized that St. Petersburg with its numerous universities and research institutes has fine conditions for establishing an international technology center. The project will allow the city to become one of the world’s major technology centers, he added.
