The highest unemployment rate is in the North Caucasus.
According to the RF Federal Statistics Service, this summer St. Petersburg rated among the regions with the lowest unemployment rate, just 1.4%.
On the opposite side of the rating are the North-Caucasian Federal District regions with 10.5% of their population registered as unemployed.
The overall number of workforce in Russia amounted to 75.5 thousand people in June-August this year, 3.3 thousand of them were reported unemployed, according to RIA Novosti.
