St. Petersburg Governor Alexander Beglov has shared plans for developing the city’s transport infrastructure in social media.
According to the Governor, two metro stations of the Krasnoselsko-Kalininskaya line, Putiloskya and Yugo-Zapadnaya, are under construction.
Two stations are to be opened on the Lakhtinsko-Pravoberezhnaya metro line, Gorny Institute and Kudrovo. At Gorny Institute, construction and assembly work is currently underway, while at Kudrovo, pre-engineering and territory planning is carried out.
Two more stations, Turistskaya and Shuvalovsky Prospect, are to be built on the Nevsko-Vasileostrovskaya line beyond the Begovaya station. And the Shuvalovsky Prospect 2 station will be constructed on the Frunzensko-Primorskaya line with a crossing to the Nevsko-Vasileostrovskaya line.
Besides, new entrance halls are to be built for the Vasileostrovskaya, Baltiyskaya and Teatralnaya metro stations.
