A party for children with special needs was held in St. Petersburg. The small guests saw a concert and a performance, and met Zenit football club stars Anatoly Timoshchuk and Sergey Semak.
The charity event was organized by one of the city’s restaurants and the Center for Civil Initiatives Support coordinated by State Duma Deputy Sergey Boyarsky.
According to Sergey Boyarsky, the Center supports a lot of inclusive projects aimed at providing equal opportunities.
Analoty Timoshchuk, assistant to the head coach of Zenit football club, believes such evets are very important for special children. ‘They do need to feel happy. And we on our part are doing our best to make them a bit happier’, he said.
Social adaptation of people with physical disabilities is one of the priorities for the Center for Civil Initiatives Support. The Center works in s close contact with non-commercial organizations and civil activists providing assistance in various social projects.
