By 2022, investment into the St. Petersburg economy is expected to exceed 1 trillion rubles (about $15.1 billion), TASS quotes Valery Moskalenko, Chairman of the Committee for economic policy and strategic planning, as saying. According to V.Moskalenko, during this period investment will grow by 3.6% annually on the average.
In 2019, investment growth is expected to make about 4% up to 820 billion rubles ($12.4 billion).
In 2020-2022 industrial investment is forecasted to reach 505.6 billion rubles ($7.6 billion).
Acting Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov previously said that one of the most important tasks for the city is to increase its budget up to 1 trillion rubles.
