The Maritime Board is a permanent body coordinating the efforts of federal and regional executive bodies and other organizations in maritime activities.
St. Petersburg Governor Alexander Beglov has been appointed member of the Maritime Board under the Government of the Russian Federation. A decree to this effect was signed by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
In accordance with the document, twelve new members have been appointed to the Maritime Board including Alexander Beglov, Governor of St. Petersburg, Nikolay Yevmenov, Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, and Sergey Gorkov, Managing Director of Rosgeo.
The Maritime Board is a permanent body set up to coordinate the efforts of federal bodies of executive authority, regional executive bodies and other organizations in maritime activities, shipbuilding, marine engineering, research and exploration in the Arctic, Antarctic and the world’s oceans.
