Students will study network operations and develop new services.
The St. Petersburg State University in cooperation with a major mobile operator have launched a 5G digital laboratory for students to study the 5G network and develop new services.
The laboratory has a test 5G zone and is based on the University’s Higher Management School.
The curriculum includes developing digital solutions and managing their integration. The training course consists of three stages, the first stage started this Monday. The entire course will last eight months.
Earlier, at the end of August, a pilot 5G network was launched in Kronstadt.
