Russia will host the next World Energy Congress, the World Energy Council’s global flagship event. The forum will be held in 2022 in St. Petersburg. This decision was announced at the World Energy Congress 2019 in Abu Dhabi.
RF Vice Premier Dmitry Kozak, who heads the organization committee, reminded that Russia was one of the founders of the World Energy Council. Russian companies are expected to take an active part in the event.
The triannual Congress is a platform for politicians, experts and global energy leaders to discuss new energy futures, critical innovation areas, and new strategies.
